My single room was equipped with Wi-Fi, a laptop, and a writing desk, which I found very convenient. the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. the hotel's location is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from wonderful restaurants and downtown Gijón. Plus, I discovered the Lord High Admiral is only 1 km away, offering a variety of shots and drinks.

Setting was unbeatable and peaceful, I didn't feel like leaving.

our second visit to gijon was even better than the last. this time, we chose to stay at a hotel close to the city center. the staff at dona maria were incredibly welcoming and helpful. the room had everything we needed and the lively local restaurant nearby was a great bonus.

Asturian Food: I felt like I was on a culinary adventure when I dined at the hotel's restaurant. The traditional Asturian dishes, paired with the famous Asturian cider, were a delightful combination that left my taste buds dancing with joy.

Even though we didn't dine at the hotel's restaurant, it appeared to be bustling and popular among the locals.

Upon arrival, we had some difficulty communicating with the receptionist who seemed unaware of our reservation. our request for a double bed was misunderstood, resulting in two separate beds.
